Welcome to Cizeex. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you interact with us. By using our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
Account and profile information: such as your name, email address, and other details you provide when you register or manage your account.
Upsyte and content you create: profile and business details, links, services, galleries, highlights, articles, captions, and media you upload or generate on Cizeex.
Social connection data: if you connect Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, LinkedIn, or similar platforms, we may store account identifiers, usernames or display names, page names, profile picture URLs, authorized scopes, connection status, and related technical credentials needed to keep the connection working.
Social import draft metadata: when you import posts or videos, we may store source URLs, captions, hashtags, status (for example draft or approved), and provider media URLs (such as media_url or thumbnail_url) so you can review and manage imports.
Usage and technical data: limited device or browser data needed to operate the service (for example session or local storage on your device).
Payment-related identifiers: when you subscribe, Stripe processes payments; we may store a Stripe customer ID to manage subscriptions.
How We Collect Your Information
We collect information when you create an account, use Cizeex features, upload or generate content, connect a social platform, import content, publish through Cizeex tools, subscribe to a plan, or contact us.
Some data is collected through your browser (for example local storage used for session and preferences).
When you authorize a third-party platform, that platform may share connection and account information with Cizeex according to the permissions you grant.
How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to provide and improve Cizeex services, including Upsyte pages, analytics, content tools, subscriptions, and support.
We use social connection data to enable features you request: importing content, refreshing stats or import drafts, and—for Meta—publishing or scheduling posts to Facebook Pages and Instagram professional accounts you authorize.
We use TikTok connection data to enable importing TikTok videos and viewing stats. Cizeex does not post content to TikTok feeds on your behalf at this time.
We may temporarily cache metadata and related data so we can refresh social posts, stats, and import status efficiently.
We use payment information (via Stripe) to manage billing and plan access.
We use content you submit to AI features to generate the results of those features, as described below.
Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok Integrations
Social integrations are optional. You connect them after signing in to Cizeex. Connecting Meta or TikTok is not the same as using Facebook or TikTok as your Cizeex account login.
Meta: From Upsyte Analytics you may connect a Facebook Page and a linked Instagram professional account. You may import Instagram posts into Cizeex as reviewable drafts, view Page or Instagram stats, and publish or schedule content to your authorized Meta accounts from tools such as Widget Share.
TikTok: From Upsyte Analytics you may connect TikTok (for example via TikTok Login Kit). You may import TikTok videos into Cizeex as reviewable drafts and view TikTok stats. Cizeex does not publish or post content to the TikTok feed on your behalf at this time.
Media hosting: For original Meta and TikTok media used for imports, analytics, and Meta publishing, Cizeex does not permanently re-host those original media files as a Cizeex media library. We primarily store connection metadata and import draft records that reference provider media URLs, and we may temporarily cache data to refresh posts and analytics. Media you upload yourself or generate with Cizeex AI, and content you choose to keep on your Upsyte after approval, is stored as your Cizeex/Upsyte content under our normal content practices.
You can disconnect social accounts in Upsyte Analytics, reject or remove import drafts, and request deletion of remaining related data by contacting info@cizeex.com.
Information Sharing
We share information only as needed to provide the services you use:
Stripe: payment processing and subscription management.
Meta (Facebook and Instagram): when you connect and use import, stats, or publish features with your authorized accounts.
TikTok: when you connect and use import or stats features (Cizeex does not post to TikTok).
LinkedIn or other platforms: when you connect and use supported features for those platforms.
AI providers: when you use AI features, as described in the AI section.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of Cizeex and our users.
AI Services and Third-Party AI Providers
Cizeex and related products (including Jynex, Sections, Synex, Upsyte, listings, creator tools, and the assistant) may offer AI-powered features such as content rewriting, summaries, job or resume analysis, cover letters, rejection-wall guidance, image or text generation, search assistance, and similar tools.
When you use an AI feature, the content you provide for that request may be sent to a third-party AI service to generate a result. This may include text you submit (for example prompts, notes, drafts, clips, job descriptions, resume content, application notes, rejection stories, or chat messages) and related context needed to complete the feature.
Cizeex may use well-known third-party AI providers depending on availability and capacity. These may include OpenAI, Grok (xAI), and other established AI agents or model providers. Your content is processed to produce the AI response for the feature you requested.
You are responsible for what you choose to share with AI features. Do not submit private, sensitive, confidential, or personal data you are not allowed to disclose to third parties. AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete; review them before relying on or publishing them.
Where required, our apps may ask for your permission before first sharing content with a third-party AI service. Using an AI feature after that disclosure means you allow Cizeex to send the relevant content to the AI provider(s) used for that feature.
Data Protection
Security Measures: We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption and secure storage practices.
Data Storage and Management: Your data is stored using practices designed to keep it secure. Social connection credentials and import metadata are retained while the connection or drafts are needed to provide the feature, or until you disconnect or request deletion.
Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data, subject to applicable law:
Access: Request access to your personal data.
Correction: Request correction of any inaccurate data.
Deletion: Request deletion of your data.
Social connections: You may disconnect Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, or other connected accounts in Upsyte Analytics at any time.
Import drafts: You may reject, remove, or stop using social import drafts associated with your Upsyte.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We may use limited local storage or similar technologies needed for login sessions and product preferences. If we introduce additional cookies or tracking technologies for analytics or advertising, we will update this policy.

Payments and Subscriptions
When you make a payment or subscribe to one of our services, we collect and process your payment details.
Payment Information: Payments are processed through Stripe. While we do not store your credit card information, we store your Stripe customer ID to manage subscriptions.
Subscription Management: We use your payment and subscription information to provide access to our services, manage billing, upgrades, downgrades, and handle any refund requests in accordance with our Refund Policy.
